Instruments for Sale

This 1/2 size William Lewis violin + Bausch bow was purchased in Fall 2017 from the John Waddle Violin Shop in St. Paul for an advanced Suzuki student to play in regional honors orchestra, at American Suzuki Institute, and in all-state MNSOTA orchestra at Orchestra Hall.

The violin has recent D’Addario strings and bridge, and the bow has recent bowhairs–both have been serviced by local luthier David Folland and bowmaker Matthew Wehling. The set, which was selected by local Suzuki instructor Laura Geissler in serious consultation with our daughter, comes with a Bobelock insulated case that accommodates a shoulder rest, 2 bows, and backpack-style or cross-body straps.

This violin has a yellow-brown varnish and is in excellent condition. The tone is big and deep, and allows for ease of tone production for a young ambitious player who wants to develop a focused, distinctive sound. The bow was especially selected for this instrument in order to take our student into advanced orchestra and Suzuki materials and techniques, and is ideal for both group and solo performance.

Asking $1000/violin + $600/bow.
