September 2016:

Hello CVYO families!

Welcome to the fall season with the Cannon Valley Youth Orchestras. We have a lot of fun music and activities planned for this fall and I can’t wait to get started.

I would like to take some time to thank you all for your newly and continued participation with us. Without you there would be no CVYO. There are so many people that make this organization great and fun to be a part of. The CVYO board is absolutely amazing and care so much about creating good quality opportunities for your kids. We are lucky to have such caring and creative people in our lives.

With that being said I have to tell you all that I have decided that this will be my last year as conductor. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of this organization for 16 going on 17 years. I have grown so much as a conductor, musician and educator through my participation with CVYO. I will forever be gratful for the time that I have spent with this organization.

You may wonder what I will doing with my “extra” time when I leave CVYO. My son has entered kindergarden this year and I plan on spending as much time with him and my husband as I can. I have been on leave from my teaching position in Owatonna and will be heading back next fall. I have also gone through the process of becoming a Hospice Volunteer and this will be taking up some time as well.

I can’t wait to begin the next chapter in my life. Thank you all for everything that you do to make CVYO strong and enjoyable for all.

Sincerely,

Jen Bellefeuille
